About the role
As a Kitchen Porter at Sodexo at Fortescue Zero HQ, you’ll play an important part in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. You’ll help maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment while supporting the wider catering team to deliver a great service.
This is a site-based role offering a consistent Monday to Friday working pattern, along with excellent on-site benefits.
What you’ll do
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and catering areas
- Wash kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery and other catering items
- Support the catering team with general kitchen duties
- Ensure equipment and work areas are cleaned to required standards
- Follow food safety, health and safety, and hygiene procedures
- Assist with deliveries, storage and waste disposal as required
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide an efficient catering service
What you bring

- Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- A willingness to learn and support colleagues
- Previous kitchen or catering experience would be beneficial but is not essential
