Kitchen Porter | Toyota, Yew Tree Bottom Road, Burgh Heath, KT18 5UX

At Sodexo, you'll belong in a team where everyone plays an important part in delivering an exceptional customer experience. We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team in Epsom, supporting our chefs and Food Service Assistants to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

You'll play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, supporting the kitchen team, managing deliveries and ensuring the kitchen is ready to deliver an excellent service every day.

What you'll do

  • Keep kitchen areas clean, tidy and hygienic
  • Wash dishes, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment
  • Clean fridges, work surfaces, equipment, floors, walls and doors
  • Remove waste and maintain clean bin areas
  • Receive, check and store deliveries
  • Support stock rotation and stock takes
  • Ensure stock is stored safely and correctly
  • Support the chefs and Food Service Assistants during service
  • Help with general kitchen duties and any additional tasks required
  • Assist with moving tables or equipment when required
  • Follow opening and closing procedures
  • Complete required paperwork and records
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly
  • Prioritise tasks and respond to changing business needs
  • Follow all food safety, COSHH, health & safety and company procedures
  • Attend required training and support the wider team when needed
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach when supporting customers and colleagues

  • Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is beneficial

  • Reliable, trustworthy and proactive approach

  • Comfortable with the demands of a Kitchen Porter role
  • Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required, as there are no public transport links to site
