We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Yard Marshall to support the day-to-day warehouse and yard operations at Phillips 66 Humber Refinery. You will help ensure that all yard activities, vehicle movements, and material handling tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures.
Control entry and exit to the yard and main warehouse
Manage and direct vehicle movements within the yard
Load and unload vehicles using mechanical handling equipment
Check consignments before acceptance and accurately record deliveries
Support loading and unloading at other storage facilities when required
Deliver chemical supplies across site in coordination with service partners
Escort and unload lubricant deliveries, checking and signing delivery documentation
Ensure laboratory chemicals are delivered safely and on time
Offload cylinder banks at the laboratory as required
Return empty containers to the chemical yard and maintain accurate tracking records
Complete daily stock balance documentation to maintain accurate inventory levels
Maintain control of yard operations, ensuring goods are segregated, labelled, and stored correctly
Operate specialist handling equipment including Counterbalance, Aisle-Master, and Reach Truck forklifts
Unload delivery vehicles carrying chemicals, oils, and lubricants to designated storage areas
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the yard, warehouse, and surrounding areas
Ensure all received items are properly accounted for and signed out
Conduct daily vehicle fleet inspections
Follow all company safety and quality procedures, reporting incidents or improvements to management
Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to deliver excellent customer service
Proven forklift operating experience
Strong understanding of yard safety and vehicle coordination
Customer-focused with a professional and reliable work ethic
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and respond to changing operational needs
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
Takes ownership of responsibilities and delivers on commitments
Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused
