Salary : £29,000 Per Annum
We are looking for a motivated and resilient Programme Facilitator to join the Rehabilitation team at HMP Northumberland. In this role, you will deliver accredited intervention programmes designed to help individuals understand and change behaviours linked to offending.

As a Programme Facilitator, you will deliver structured group programmes and interventions in line with national standards and audit requirements. Working as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, you will engage participants in meaningful discussions and activities that challenge harmful thinking patterns and encourage positive behavioural change.
You will create a safe and constructive environment where participants feel supported while being encouraged to reflect, learn, and develop pro-social goals.
Deliver accredited offending behaviour programmes to the required national standards
Conduct motivational and responsivity interviews prior to group selection
Facilitate structured group sessions and individual 1:1 interventions
Prepare and deliver sessions in line with programme manuals and guidance
Complete session plans, debriefs, and programme administration
Produce thorough and objective post-programme reports within required timeframes
Attend supervision sessions, programme reviews, and professional development training
Promote a positive therapeutic environment that supports engagement and change
Work collaboratively with colleagues including Offender Management Unit (OMU) staff
Ensure all work aligns with relevant policies, procedures, and equality and inclusion standards
We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about rehabilitation and have strong interpersonal skills to engage people from a wide range of backgrounds.
Essential

Experience working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system
