We are building a pipeline of applicants to attend our soon to be confirmed Assessment Centre

As an Operations Support Officer, your key responsibility is to ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and residents, treating everyone with dignity, decency, and respect. You’ll help maintain order and promote a culture of security and well-being.

An Environment Like No Other...

Working in a prison is a unique and rewarding experience. You’ll need to maintain professionalism, build strong working relationships, and uphold the values of HMP Northumberland and Sodexo. As the first and last point of contact for visitors and staff, you will play a vital role in upholding the prison’s security and reputation.

Comprehensive Training Program

Our four-week training program will prepare you with everything you need, from learning how to handle conflicts to shadowing experienced colleagues. By the end of the training, you’ll feel ready and capable to handle your daily responsibilities with confidence.
