Engineering Technical Coordinator

We have a new role that has come available as an Engineering Technical Coordinator, based at our Shell site in Aberdeen. As the Engineering Technical Coordinator, you will provide an efficient, effective and professional administrative support service to the hard services team on the Shell Account. This is a key role supporting a hard services management team interfacing directly with service managers and clients in addition to exposure to confidential information which will require considerable use of judgement, discretion, tact and diplomacy.
Sodexo’s Energy & Resources team serves clients across specialist industries: oil & gas; mining and engineering; construction plus other energy sectors.
We have a dedicated team of 2,000 employees working at over 80 sites in the UK & Ireland region - often in isolated locations both on and offshore.
Onshore and offshore operations are coordinated from our Energy & Resources segment headquarters in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Role Responsibility
- Coordinating, assigning, updating and closing of reactive tasks on Planon.
- Updating and closing of PPM tasks on Planon.
- Liaising with both internal and external resources.
- Providing support to hard services management.
- Responsible for managing payroll system (UDC), ensuring overtime sheets are processed on-time and management authorisation of any pay variances is adhered to prior to the final submission.
- Producing and updating Excel spread sheets, managing databases and document management systems.
- Using SAP software to raise purchase orders and managing the transaction process. Goods receipt once delivery note/approval has been received.
- Dealing with invoice enquiries from Sodexo finance and invoice emails from Baseware.
- Updating end of month documents (Sodexo and Shell).
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous administration experience essential.
- Proficient with Microsoft office applications.
- Excellent communication, organisational and administration skills, including editing skills and a keen attention to detail.
- An understanding of the requirements and implications of working for a facilities management team.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrates discretion and ability to deal with confidential issues.
Package Description
Up to £25,000 depending on experience
Fixed term - 6 months
