We are seeking a proactive and experienced Community Link Manager to lead the Community Resource Link at HMP Forest Bank. This pivotal role supports prisoners at the point of release—helping to build continuity of services into the community and driving positive resettlement outcomes.

Working collaboratively with the OMU and PPU Managers, you will support the line management of staffing hubs and oversee “Through the Gate” (TTG) provision, ensuring high‑quality, consistent support that reflects HMIP expectations and best practice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing resettlement and TTG services within the prison and into the community
• Building and maintaining strong partnerships with community stakeholders and external agencies
• Monitoring, collating and reporting performance and outcome data
• Acting as SPOC for external service providers and supporting their enablement within the resettlement hub
• Providing assurance to the Head of Offender Management Services (HOMS)

You will bring excellent communication skills, strong data capability, and experience working with external agencies in a target‑driven environment. You’ll be detail‑focused, resilient, and committed to promoting a positive, rehabilitative culture.

HMP Forest Bank serves the courts of Greater Manchester and maintains strong community links with a clear focus on resettlement. We provide quality‑of‑life services that support people to make positive changes, offering education, training and work‑ready skills to everyone in custody. Our support continues after release through partnerships that help individuals maintain recovery and lead law‑abiding lives. The prison includes 16 residential units, plus a healthcare centre, gym, library, workshops, visits hall, chaplaincy and kitchen.
