Job Introduction

As a Cleaning Supervisor with Sodexo at NBCUniversal Central Saint Giles, 1 Central Saint Giles, St Giles High Street, London, WC2H 8NU, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our cleaning services are delivered to consistently high standards.

You’ll supervise the evening cleaning team, coordinate daily tasks and ensure the service meets contractual, health and safety and operational requirements. With responsibility for the evening shift, you’ll be confident working independently and providing clear direction and support to the team.

What you’ll do

• Supervise the day-to-day delivery and maintenance of the cleaning service in line with contract specifications and agreed performance standards.
• Allocate daily tasks and workloads across the cleaning team.
• Provide supervisory support across designated locations as required to maintain service standards and operational continuity.
• Ensure you have a full working knowledge of the areas covered within the cleaning specification.
• Support the induction and task allocation of temporary and agency colleagues, ensuring health and safety, COSHH and local procedures are understood and followed.
• Monitor working hours, sickness and annual leave to ensure sufficient operational cover.
• Ensure team members correctly sign in and out using the appropriate timekeeping processes and check records for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate operational records and provide relevant reports to the Soft Services Manager.
• Lead by example and help maintain a safe, professional and high-quality working environment.

What you bring

• Previous experience working as a Cleaning Supervisor is essential.
• Experience supervising and supporting cleaning teams.
• Good knowledge of cleaning procedures, health and safety and COSHH requirements.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Confidence allocating workloads and managing competing operational priorities.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the evening cleaning operation.
• A reliable, professional and proactive approach.

Package Description

• £15.00 per hour
• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 13:00 – 22:00
• Permanent, full-time
• Site-based at NBCUniversal Central Saint Giles, London
• Free hot and cold drinks available on site
