We're looking for a Hospitality& Events Supervisor to join our team and help deliver outstanding hospitality experiences across a wide range of events, from sporting fixture sand school celebrations to conferences, summer programmes and commercial events.

What You Will Do

As Catering Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day running of the catering operation, ensuring excellent service standards, food quality, and compliance across all areas.

Key responsibilities include

• Supervising and supporting catering staff during daily service periods
• Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standards
• Maintaining clean, safe, and organised catering areas at all times
• Supporting stock management, ordering, stock rotation, and waste control
• Monitoring food safety, allergen management, and hygiene compliance
• Providing excellent customer service and resolving day-to-day service issues
• Assisting with staff training, onboarding, and performance support
• Opening and closing catering facilities where required
• Working closely with the management team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Supporting hospitality functions, events, and special occasions across the school

What You Bring

We're looking for a motivated and experienced catering professional who enjoys leading by example and creating a positive customer experience.

You will have

• Previous supervisory experience within catering, hospitality, or food service environments
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience working in busy catering operations serving large numbers of customers
• Good knowledge of food safety, food hygiene, and allergen legislation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
• Experience with stock control and food cost management
• Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (essential)
• NVQ Level 2 in Catering, Hospitality, or equivalent qualification (desirable)
