About the role
Ward Assistant – Leeds Nuffield Hospital
Annual Salary: £13,214 per year (£12.71 per hour equivalent)
20 hours per week • Wednesday, Thursday & Friday only No weekend working Shift Patterns:
- 7:00am – 1:00pm
- 1:00pm – 8:00pm

As a Ward Assistant at Leeds Nuffield Hospital, you’ll help deliver comforting meals and warm interactions that make a real difference to patients, visitors, and staff. Your presence brings reassurance, care, and a human touch when people need it most.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with the setup and serving of hot and cold meals
- Follow recipes and product instructions to maintain quality
- Clean and sanitise workstations and equipment
- Break down and tidy food service areas after meal period
