As a Ward Host/Hostess at Sodexo, based at The Chesterfield Nuffield Hospital in Bristol, you play a vital role in creating a calm, reassuring and positive experience for patients. Your daily interactions help ease the stress that often comes with hospital stays — and your care, attention and warmth genuinely make a difference.

What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly, attentive service to patients on the ward, ensuring meals, refreshments and dietary needs are met with care.
- Support patient well being through positive daily interactions that help reduce anxiety and improve comfort.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety, following all Sodexo and hospital procedures.
- Work collaboratively with nursing teams, catering colleagues and hospital staff to ensure smooth service.
- Uphold Sodexo values through professionalism, empathy and consistent service excellence.
