- Serve meals and beverages to patients in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all food is handled, stored and served in line with food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with meal set-up and clear-down, including collecting trays and washing up
- Maintain cleanliness of ward kitchens, dining areas and equipment
- Record food temperatures and complete required safety checks
- Support stock rotation, labelling and storage of food items
- Work closely with colleagues and ward staff to ensure a smooth dining service
- Follow all health, safety and infection control procedure
