We are currently recruiting a professional and proactive Security Shift Supervisor to lead on-site security operations at Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK in Derby — a large, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on role where you will take responsibility for supervising security operations on shift, ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and service delivery across the site.
Supervise and support the security team on shift, ensuring duties are carried out effectively and in line with site procedures
Act as the first point of contact for all security-related matters during your shift
Oversee access control, ensuring all employees, contractors, and visitors are processed in line with site protocols
Conduct and coordinate regular patrols across the manufacturing site, both internally and externally
Monitor CCTV and security systems, responding promptly to any incidents or irregularities
Lead the response to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations, ensuring appropriate escalation where required
Complete detailed incident reports, logs, and shift handovers to a high standard
Support site operations including traffic management and vehicle movement where necessary
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, security procedures, and company policies
Promote a professional, customer-focused approach across the security team
A valid and in-date SIA Licence
Previous experience in a security role with supervisory or team leader responsibilities
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, particularly during incidents
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive and professional approach to team management and site safety
Must be aged 18 or over
Full UK manual driving licence (essential)
