About the role

As a Security Officer with Sodexo at Unilever Seacroft in Leeds, you’ll play an important role in protecting the site, colleagues, visitors and assets while maintaining a professional and welcoming security presence.

This is a physical role working a rota of 12-hour day and night shifts. You’ll need to be comfortable carrying out manual tasks, following site procedures and responding appropriately to security incidents.

What you’ll do

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence across the site.
• Carry out regular security patrols and checks.
• Monitor access to the site and support the safe movement of colleagues, visitors and contractors.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, alarms and emergencies.
• Follow security procedures and instructions accurately.
• Complete required security records and reports.
• Support the safety and security of people, property and site assets.
• Work effectively as part of the wider site team.

What you’ll bring

• A valid SIA Manned Guarding licence.
• A valid First Aid qualification.
• The ability to understand and follow instructions.
• A reasonable level of physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual tasks.
• A professional and responsible approach to security.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work both day and night shifts as part of the site rota.

Successful candidates will be required to complete security vetting.
