At Sodexo, we recognise that professional security is critical to the safe and efficient operation of high-profile manufacturing environments. We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly professional Security Officer to join our team at Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK in Derby.

This is a key role within a dynamic automotive production facility, where safety, precision, and professionalism are paramount. You will be responsible for protecting people, assets, and operations, ensuring the site remains secure at all times.

What you’ll do

• Control access to site, greeting staff, contractors, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner

• Ensure all security protocols and site procedures are strictly followed

• Conduct regular internal and external patrols across a large manufacturing environment

• Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment in line with company policies

• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, and emergencies

• Support health & safety compliance across the site

• Complete accurate incident reports, logs, and detailed handovers

What you’ll bring

• A valid, in-date SIA Licence (essential)

• A full UK driving licence (essential)

• Previous experience in a corporate or industrial security environment

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently at all levels

• A calm, professional approach when handling incidents or emergencies

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow strict procedures

• Reliability and flexibility to work a rotating days and nights shift pattern
