About the role
At Sodexo, our maintenance teams play an essential role in keeping our workplaces safe, reliable and running at their best.
We’re looking for a practical and proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You’ll provide day-to-day maintenance support across the site, helping to resolve faults, complete planned maintenance and ensure our facilities continue to operate safely and efficiently.
What you’ll do
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
- Undertake general building and fabric maintenance, including fixtures, fittings, doors, flooring, sealing and minor repairs where appropriate.
- Support minor works, improvements and asset replacements.
- Assist specialist trades where additional technical support is required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with relevant procedures and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with the wider facilities team to minimise disruption and deliver a great service to our customers.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience within a multi-skilled maintenance or facilities environment.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach with experience across a range of building maintenance activities.
- Strong understanding of health and safety and safe systems of work.
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A relevant trade or technical qualification would be advantageous.
- Any work requiring a licensed or specifically competent trade should be undertaken only by appropriately qualified personnel. The Sodexo Job Dictionary specifically distinguishes general maintenance from electrical or plumbing work requiring licensed tradespeople.
