We're looking for a proactive and detail-focused Cleaning Monitor / Auditor to join our team at Homerton Hospital, helping to drive and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance across the site.
In this important role, you'll carry out quality audits and monitoring checks, provide accurate reporting on cleaning standards, and work closely with operational teams to ensure continuous improvement across Environmental and Hotel Services.
What you'll do
- Conduct daily audits and quality monitoring checks across the hospital.
- Ensure compliance with National Standards of Cleanliness and agreed performance standards.
- Produce accurate monitoring reports and highlight areas requiring improvement.
- Work collaboratively with Sodexo colleagues and Trust stakeholders to support service excellence.
- Assist with the production of performance reports and dashboards.
- Support the investigation and resolution of quality concerns.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety and infection prevention.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can confidently explain findings and influence positive outcomes.
- Is highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
- Can work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Is a collaborative team player with a flexible approach.
It would be an advantage if you have:
- Experience within healthcare, facilities management or quality monitoring.
- Knowledge of performance monitoring systems.
- Experience working within a compliance or auditing environment.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and standards.
