  • Monitor food safety, health & safety and allergen management standards.

  • Support stock control, ordering and cost management processes.

  • Assist with training, coaching and development of colleagues.

  • Provide operational support during periods of change, absence or increased demand.

  • Build positive relationships with school staff, pupils and Sodexo teams.

  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational standards.

  • Ensure compliance with Sodexo policies and client requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience managing or supervising catering operations, ideally within education, contract catering or a high-volume food service environment.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.

  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work across different locations.

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage priorities in a busy environment.

  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and allergen management.

  • Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to complete).

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel between sites is required
