Location - King’s Cross N1C
We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Vending Operative to join our catering team at Meta in London. You’ll help keep our coffee and food vending areas running smoothly, ensuring they are clean, well-stocked and welcoming while delivering excellent customer service.
What you’ll do
- Replenish food, drinks and other stock across vending areas
- Keep vending machines and surrounding areas clean, tidy and well presented
- Carry out cleaning duties in line with the site cleaning schedule
- Monitor stock levels, rotate products and complete stock counts
- Order stock and assist with the purchasing of goods
- Ensure food safety, allergen and Health & Safety standards are followed
- Provide friendly and professional service to customers
- Report any issues or faults to your Supervisor or Manager
- Support special events and functions when required
- Work collaboratively with the wider catering team and support other departments when needed
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience in a catering, vending or customer service environment is desirable
- A friendly, professional and customer-focused approach
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work independently and use your initiative
- Reliable, trustworthy and flexible approach
- Ability to multitask and prioritise your workload
- Basic IT skills
- Knowledge of Food Safety and COSHH would be advantageous
Flexibility may be required to support operational needs, including occasional support across other sites within the portfolio.
