Regional Service Manager (North East)
Job Introduction
Sodexo delivers a wide range of services to meet the unique and varied needs of the whole force. Our facilities Management expertise keeps our sites running smoothly, while our Property Services ensure that client infrastructure and equipment is well cared for.
We are now seeking an organised and conscientious Regional Service Manager that will oversee multiple soft service functions such as cleaning, and supplier management across circa 20 sites within the North East of England, these will include Approved Premises and office buildings.
Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that the ideal candidate has a UK drivers’ licence and is based within the North East region as travel will be required around Durham, Newcastle, Gateshead, Northumberland North & South Shields and Sunderland.
With extensive supervisory experience working across regions and of managing a frontline team, sub-contractors, you will be enthusiastic, highly organised and possess strong stakeholder management skills.
Directly managing a Front-line team including mobile supervisors and two mobile cleaners we are looking for someone that can positively engage, empower, influence and lead by example with credibility and passion.
You will have accountability for the following;
- Stakeholder management (including excellent client and customer collaboration)
- Health and safety (including risk assessments and allergen checks)
- People skills
- Payroll
- Leadership
- Audits
- Training
Though this role will predominantly be Monday to Friday and remote based, you would be required to travel frequently across the region to visit circa 20 sites and attend team meetings.
