We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Cleaning Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation.
The role will oversee and manage cleaning operations within at our well-known client's large-scale, industrial manufacturing, and corporate estate. This role is critical in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across our facilities. You'll lead the way and inspire your teams, managing resources effectively, and maintaining compliance, and supporting Sodexo on it's journey towards Zero Harm.
As a Cleaning Manager with Sodexo, you'll:
- Oversee all cleaning operations across the site's facilities, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Lead, manage, and develop a large team of cleaning staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Implement and maintain cleaning schedules and procedures to meet hygiene and safety standards, including periodic cleaning programs.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective procurement.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold quality control and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines, including COSHH and risk assessments.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including senior management and the client, to ensure contractual fulfilment and continuous satisfaction.
- Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requirements and emergencies.

- Proven experience in a similar role, within an industrial, corporate, or large-scale environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse team.
- A proactive and solution-focused mindset.
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Financial understanding and budget awareness.
- Proficiency in digital record keeping, databases and reporting.
