Regional Account Manager

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take overall responsibility for ensuring that contracts are operated within their contractual terms, have a unit business plan which is reviewed at least quarterly showing key objectives, goals and measures that link to the overall business plan and strategy for the segment
  • Be responsible for building long-term relationships with client(s) that add value and are based on mutual trust
  • Develop business strategy in line with current and emerging client needs
  • Own, define, maintain and manage sector and account development plans, as well as leading the change management process and associated Service Levels Agreements (SLAs) ensuring risks are mitigated
  • Understand the Operational Contract Summary, identify gap in services and align business plan to bridge gap
  • Ensure that costs and expenditure are controlled in line with budget, utilising nominated suppliers and maximising labour productivity in line with the company’s labour productivity models, policies and procedures – ensuring that forecasts and actuals are entered and remedial action taken as appropriate
  • Ensure that the Unit has a business plan which is reviewed at least quarterly, showing key objectives, goals and measures that link to the overall business plan and strategy for the Prestige business.  Ensure that key members of the team are briefed on their role in this delivery
  • Develop long term client relationships with clients and agents to understand clients future expectations for the account and develop the model to meet those using the Clients for Life process, methodology and toolkit including facilitating and attending Expectations and TARP meetings 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will have demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team, managing P&L accounts, and operating in multiple sites/service operations. You will have strong operational knowledge and skills, with the ability to manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities.

You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to connect with customers, clients, and employees at all levels. You will also be able to interpret and utilize complex financial and commercial information, and achieve set standards and performance criteria, including health and safety and hygiene.

You will be self-motivated, with the ability to work on their own initiative within a team environment. A general understanding of basic employee relations management is also essential.

In addition to this it would be desirable if you have:

  • IOSH managing safely qualification
  • CIEH Level 3 qualification
  • SAP Knowledge
