  🔧 Role Overview:

  As a Maintenance Operative, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained. Your responsibilities will include:

  • 🛠️ Reactive Maintenance: Respond promptly to on-site issues to meet contract Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • 🔍 Daily Inspections: Conduct routine checks on critical systems like HVAC, lighting, and plumbing, reporting any faults to the Helpdesk.

  • 📋 Documentation: Maintain up-to-date records to ensure compliance with contractual and legislative requirements.

  • 🧰 General Repairs: Perform tasks such as assembling furniture, room reconfigurations, and minor fixes.

  • 🧼 Safety & Cleanliness: Ensure all equipment and materials are stored securely and maintained appropriately.

  • 🛡️ Subcontractor Coordination: Provide inductions, supervise, and ensure all permit-to-work requirements are met.

    🎓 Preferred Qualifications:

    • 🛡️ PSA Licence

    • 🛠️ Safe Pass Certification

    • 💧 Legionella Training

  • Note: While these qualifications are preferred, training will be provided for the right candidate.
