🧽 Your Role:
As our School Cleaning Supervisor, you'll be the cornerstone of maintaining a pristine and safe learning environment. Your leadership will ensure that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
🏫 Comprehensive Knowledge: Understand all areas concerning building fabric and maintenance.
📋 Standards Compliance: Ensure all areas meet contractual standards as per Schedule 10 (training provided).
⚠️ Safety Monitoring: Report hazards like locked fire doors, uneven flooring, or malfunctioning lights.
✅ Routine Checks: Conduct daily/weekly inspections and report issues promptly.
🛠️ Equipment Oversight: Identify faulty equipment, label appropriately, and refrain from use.
🚧 Safety Signage: Utilize appropriate signage (e.g., wet floor signs) and inform users of potential hazards.
🧹 Storage Maintenance: Keep storage areas clean and equipment stored safely.
👔 Personal Hygiene: Maintain high standards of personal cleanliness and wear the designated uniform.
📦 Inventory Management: Notify the FM Manager of low stock levels to facilitate reordering.
📚 Training & Meetings: Attend necessary training sessions and meetings, some may be outside regular hours.
🔄 Flexible Coverage: Provide support in other areas during staff absences.
🧰 Tool Maintenance: Ensure all tools are clean and in safe working order; report defects immediately.
📜 Policy Adherence: Comply with all company policies, procedures, and client site regulations.
🧯 Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all regulations related to health, safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, and chemical safety.
📝 Additional Tasks: Perform other reasonable tasks as directed by the FM Manager.
🕒 Overtime: Be prepared to work reasonable overtime when required.

✅ Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory cleaning role, preferably in an educational setting.
