Are you a passionate Head Chef looking for your next opportunity? Join Sodexo in Aldershot and lead a dedicated catering team, delivering high-quality food and exceptional service every day. You'll play a key role in maintaining the highest culinary standards, developing your team, and creating a positive dining experience for our customers.
What you’ll do:
- Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team, creating a positive and high-performing working environment.
- Prepare, cook and serve high-quality meals, ensuring excellent presentation and consistency.
- Plan and cost menus, manage food budgets, and oversee stock control and ordering.
- Ensure the kitchen operates safely and efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, HACCP, COSHH and Health & Safety compliance.
- Manage kitchen operations, including staff rotas, equipment, and training, to ensure smooth day-to-day service.
- Work closely with the Catering Manager to deliver an exceptional catering service, continuously improve standards, and meet customer expectations.
What you bring:
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a busy catering or hospitality environment.
- A recognised professional cookery qualification, such as City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 (or equivalent).
- A good understanding of food hygiene, health & safety, and COSHH regulations, with relevant certifications desirable.
