General Assistant/Store Person - Cambridge, CB2 0AA

As a General Assistant/Store Person with Sodexo, you'll enhance the services of our vibrant corporate site, offering a helping hand to ensure flawless facilities operations and keep things running smoothly.

What you'll do

• Be a friendly face, assisting employees, clients, and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
• To ensure that all stock rooms are clean and tidy.
• To receive and process all deliveries in line with Sodexo policies and Food safety standards.
• To act as a cover for Kitchen porter holidays.
• Providing a safe and hygienic environment for the production and service of food.
• To receive all deliveries, check them against delivery notes, check for any damaged or out of date items.
• To ensure the security of stores, cupboards, and any other area under your control and to prevent the abuse and/or destruction of Company property

What you'll bring

• Previous experience in a similar client facing role is a plus, but excellent interpersonal and communication skills are the key

• A positive, energetic and proactive attitude

• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
