About the Role
We are seeking amotivated and reliable Catering Assistant to support the daily operations ofour catering services. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality foodservice while maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, andcustomer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service in line with Sodexo standards
- Deliver a friendly, polite, and efficient service to customers across all catering areas
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a clean and hygienic environment
- Serve customers at counters and operate the till when required, including cash handling and end-of-service reconciliation
- Complete all necessary sales controls and documentation in line with compliance standards
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, appearance, and performance at all times
- Carry out cleaning duties including equipment, utensils, kitchen areas, and dining spaces according to cleaning schedules
- Ensure service counters are stocked and replenished throughout service periods
- Keep tables, service areas, and restaurant floors clean, tidy, and well-presented
- Refill and maintain vending machines within the restaurant area
- Prepare service areas for the next shift, including setting up cutlery and crockery
- Assist with staff rostering if required, ensuring all service areas are adequately covered
- Undertake routine cleaning such as sweeping and mopping floors daily
