Job Introduction
We’re looking for a friendly and motivated Food Service Assistant to join our team at HMRC Liverpool, L2 0RD. You’ll deliver great customer service by preparing and serving food and drinks to a high standard, supporting smooth service times, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, present, and serve food and beverages to company standards.
Support café and dining services, including replenishment and cleaning.
Maintain hygiene, safety, and food quality standards at all times.
Assist with stock control, deliveries, and waste reduction.
Operate the till, follow profit protection procedures, and handle cash responsibly.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
Work flexibly to cover holidays or sickness as needed.
Provide excellent customer service and support colleagues where required.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential
Strong focus on customer service and teamwork.
Awareness of health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
Willingness to learn and follow procedures.
Desirable
Previous experience in catering, barista, or customer service roles (training provided).
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
