Working closely with engineers, facilities teams, contractors and client stakeholders, you will help improve energy performance, support sustainability objectives, identify energy saving opportunities, develop business cases, and support the delivery of carbon reduction initiatives. • Undertake energy audits and produce technical reports identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
  • Identify and develop energy saving initiatives, including preparing business cases and supporting project delivery teams.
  • Manage and maintain utility contingency plans, including testing, review and reporting.
  • Oversee compliance with Display Energy Certificate (DEC) and Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) requirements, including quality assurance of surveys, certificates and advisory reports.
  • Provide technical support and guidance for HVAC and Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS), ensuring systems operate in line with industry best practice.
  • Manage and respond to BEMS support requests and coordinate appropriate remedial actions.
  • Support planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities relating to HVAC systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of estate plant and utility infrastructure.
  • Support estate asset management activities and contribute to long-term asset planning.
  • Assist with utility management activities associated with site closures, utility removals and account closures.
  • Analyse complex data from multiple sources and transform findings into meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in energy, waste and water management across the estate.
  • Maintain strong health and safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and procedures.

What you bring:

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Excellent stakeholder and customer relationship management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of business drivers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
