About the Role

Sodexo is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at the Johnson & Johnson MedTech site in Leeds. This is a professional corporate and manufacturing environment where high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are essential.

In this role, you will contribute to maintaining a safe, compliant, and welcoming workplace for employees and visitors, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out scheduled cleaning tasks across office spaces, welfare areas, and controlled production environments
  • Ensure all areas are maintained in line with site hygiene standards and regulatory requirements
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols, including the safe use of equipment and materials
  • Respond promptly to ad hoc cleaning requests as required
  • Support the wider team in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant working environment
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation policies at all times

About You

  • Previous cleaning experience within a corporate, healthcare, or manufacturing environment is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach
  • Reliable, flexible, and proactive attitude
  • Understanding of health and safety practices is advantageous (training will be provided)
