What you'll do

• Carry out a range of cleaning duties across designated areas, ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor or Manager.
• Help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for everyone on site.
• Follow the correct cleaning methods and procedures in line with your training.
• Use cleaning equipment, machinery and products safely and correctly.
• Follow COSHH, Health & Safety and safe working procedures at all times.
• Follow colour-coding procedures to help prevent cross-contamination.
• Wear the appropriate company uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while carrying out your duties.
• Report any faults with cleaning machinery or equipment promptly to your supervisor.
• Identify and report building defects, hazards and any health and safety concerns.
• Report accidents, incidents and near misses in accordance with site procedures.
• Attend and complete all required training to ensure you can carry out your role safely and effectively.
• Work closely with your colleagues to ensure cleaning standards and service requirements are consistently achieved.
• Support with additional reasonable cleaning tasks as required to meet the needs of the site.

• The ability to follow Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.

• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional approach.
• Flexibility and a willingness to support different cleaning tasks as required.
• High standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance.
• A willingness to learn and complete any training required for the role.
• A customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing excellent service.
• Previous cleaning experience would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
• Previous Health & Safety training would be an advantage.
