Sodexo is seeking a professional and reliable Chef to join our catering team at Johnson & Johnson’s Pinewood Campus on a 5-month fixed-term contract.
This role supports the delivery of high-quality food services within a busy corporate environment, preparing and serving meals to a consistent standard while maintaining full compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company procedures. You will work as part of a collaborative kitchen team and provide cover in the absence of the Head Chef where required.
Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch dishes in line with menu specifications and required standards
Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and portion control
Ensure full compliance with food safety, allergen awareness, and health and safety regulations
Support day-to-day kitchen operations, including food service, hospitality, and customer interaction
Assist with cleaning duties, including pot wash, equipment cleaning, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards
Contribute to the setup and service of hospitality and coffee station (Costa) in line with site procedures
Support deliveries, stock rotation, and storage, ensuring accurate recording where required
Operate kitchen equipment safely and in accordance with training
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
Undertake additional duties as required to support the smooth running of the service
Previous experience in a food preparation or catering environment is desirable
Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and allergen requirements
Ability to work to established procedures and maintain high standards
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a varied workload
Good communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
Flexible and team-focused approach
Willingness to undertake training and develop within the role
