Contract Type: Permanent – 52 weeks
Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 days (including weekends)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £13.00 per hour

The Role

As a Catering Logistics Driver, you'll play an important part in supporting the catering operation across Wellington College. You'll be responsible for delivering and collecting food, beverages and catering equipment across the campus, helping to ensure students, staff and visitors receive the high-quality service they're expecting.

Working closely with the catering team, you'll help keep services running efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, health and safety, and customer service.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver food, beverages, catering supplies and equipment safely across the Wellington College campus.
• Collect catering equipment and supplies from boarding houses and function venues.
• Assist with preparing hot and cold beverages for delivery across the site.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and maintain the company van to a high standard.
• Support waste management and recycling processes.
• Follow food safety, COSHH, HACCP and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Act as a banksman when required, following safe working practices.
• Report any maintenance issues, incidents or safety concerns promptly.
• Attend training sessions and team meetings as required.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive, professional team environment.
• Carry out additional duties that support the smooth running of the catering operation.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, organised and enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment.

You'll ideally have:

• A full UK driving licence (essential).
• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Van Driver, Catering Driver or in a hospitality or food service environment.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• A reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
• The ability to undertake manual handling and work in a physically active role.
