Catering & Events Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Catering & Events Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hospitality services. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role where you will lead a team to deliver an exceptional guest experience while maintaining high operational standards.

As Hospitality Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising all aspects of the hospitality service, ensuring a welcoming environment and consistently high levels of customer satisfaction. You will lead, support, and develop a team while ensuring smooth coordination across departments.

You will also play a key role in administrative processes, stock control, and operational support, stepping in as a point of contact in the absence of the Catering Manager.

What you'll do

  • Supervise day-to-day hospitality operations and ensure high service standards
  • Lead, train, and support team members, including recruitment and performance management
  • Coordinate with departments such as front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally
  • Manage stock levels and maintain supplier relationships
  • Support administrative tasks, including email communication and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, Hygiene, Fire Safety, and COSHH regulations
  • Act as point of contact in the absence of the Catering Manager

What you'll bring

  • Previous experience in a hospitality supervisory or similar role
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering high-quality service
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and hospitality systems
