Job Introduction

As an Accommodation Liaison Manager with Sodexo at Newbold Revel, Rugby, CV23 0TH, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of services across the site, leading your teams to deliver an excellent experience for our client and everyone using the facilities.

This is a varied operational management role where you'll oversee front-of-house and back-office services, manage and develop your team, build strong client relationships and ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with agreed standards.

You'll also have responsibility for financial and commercial performance, compliance and continuous improvement, so we're looking for an experienced operational manager who is confident balancing people, service delivery and business priorities.

If you have a background in operational management, ideally within accommodation, hospitality, facilities or a similar service-led environment, this is a great opportunity to take ownership of a busy operation and make a real impact on the service we provide.

What you’ll do

  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of front-of-house and back-office services across the site.
  • Lead, motivate and develop your team to consistently deliver high standards of service.
  • Act as a key point of contact for the client, building strong relationships and responding effectively to changing requirements.
  • Ensure services are delivered in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), contractual requirements and KPIs.
  • Manage operational performance, identifying opportunities to improve services, systems and processes.
  • Support the management of budgets, costs and financial performance.
  • Interpret financial and commercial information to support effective decision-making.
  • Ensure health & safety, compliance, security and company procedures are consistently followed.
  • Manage staffing levels, performance, training and development across your areas of responsibility.
  • Support recruitment, induction and ongoing development of team members.
  • Monitor service standards through audits, performance measures and regular reviews.
  • Manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing operational and client requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and wider teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality service.
  • Promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture across the site.

What you bring:

  • Previous operational management experience within a similar service-led environment.
  • Previous experience managing, motivating and developing teams.
  • Strong client and customer relationship management skills.
  • Experience managing operational performance and delivering against agreed service standards.
  • The ability to understand and use financial and commercial information.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workloads and changing priorities.
  • Strong numerical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to make decisions and work using your own initiative.
  • Previous experience within accommodation, hospitality or a similar environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience balancing the differing expectations of clients and customers would also be beneficial.
