Job Introduction

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team, ensuring exceptional operational standards across our Subway franchise. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining full compliance with Subway brand standards, while driving a strong culture of health, safety, and operational excellence in line with Safegard and company requirements.

You will play a key role in managing labour effectively, ensuring team members are deployed efficiently to meet business demands and deliver outstanding service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about high standards, team performance, and creating a safe, compliant, and productive working environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure all Subway brand standards, food safety, and health & safety requirements are consistently met, taking corrective action where needed
  • Lead and motivate the team on shift to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Train, coach, and support team members to perform to Subway Franchise standards
  • Take overall responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the store
  • Manage stock levels and ordering to ensure full product availability at all times
  • Maintain secure handling of cash and stock, including safe handovers between shifts
  • Monitor KPIs, labour deployment, and performance to meet sales, GP, and labour targets
  • Handle customer queries and complaints professionally while maintaining high service standards

  • Strong numerical skills with the ability to understand and act on financial data
  • Acts as a role model by consistently demonstrating company values
  • Confident and effective communicator with customers and colleagues
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across different tasks
  • Reliable, committed, and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Team player who can also work independently when required
  • Previous customer-facing and supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and engage a team
