We are recruiting for a Security Supervisor to join Sodexo and lead the delivery of a professional, high-quality security service within a fast-paced and rewarding environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced security professional looking to take the next step in their career, combining operational responsibility with team leadership.

As Security Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment, overseeing daily operations, supporting and developing security officers, and ensuring that service standards consistently exceed expectations. You'll be a visible leader on site, building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, responding to incidents with confidence, and helping to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.

If you are passionate about security, thrive in a leadership role, and are committed to delivering outstanding service, we'd love to hear from you!

What you’ll do:

  • Promote a strong safety culture by conducting safety walks, monitoring compliance, and ensuring all site documentation and policies remain up to date.
  • Deliver mandatory training, support ongoing development, and maintain accurate employee records in line with company policy and legislation.
  • Manage workforce planning, attendance, and absence processes to ensure effective resource coverage across the site.
  • Act as the first point of contact for site issues, liaising with clients, customers, control room teams, and senior management to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Respond to and report incidents appropriately, maintaining accurate records and liaising with external agencies, including the police, where required.
  • Ensure the safety of service users within a high-risk environment, enforcing site procedures and security protocols at all times.

What you bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years' security experience in a supervisory role, with the ability to lead teams effectively in high-risk and challenging environments.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and de-escalation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues.
  • Valid Door Supervisor SIA licence, with successful completion of DBS and BPSS/BS7858 screening requirements.
  • Competent in IT systems, report writing, incident logging, and maintaining confidentiality while working accurately under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements; IOSH Level 2, IWFM membership, or a relevant Level 2 qualification would be advantageous.

What we offer:

Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater. You’ll belong in a company and team that values you for you; you’ll act with purpose and have an impact through your everyday actions; and you’ll be able to thrive in your own way. In addition, we offer:
