Security Officer
Location: Mars Wrigley, Dundee Road, Slough, SL1 4LG
Full-time, 42 hours per week
4 on / 4 off shift pattern
2 day shifts (7:00am – 7:00pm) followed by 2 night shifts (7:00pm – 7:00am)
£14.37 per hour

Sodexo is seeking a professional, vigilant, and reliable Security Officer to support the safety and security of a high-profile manufacturing site. This role is critical in protecting employees, visitors, assets, and operations, while ensuring compliance with site security policies and procedures.
Control access to the site, greeting staff and visitors and ensuring all security protocols are followed
Monitor the premises to prevent unauthorised access, breaches of policy, or safety risks
Carry out regular internal and external patrols to maintain a visible security presence
Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
Enforce company, client, and statutory security policies and procedures
Accurately record incidents and complete detailed reports and shift handovers
A valid and in-date SIA licence
Previous experience in a corporate, industrial, or manufacturing security environment is desirable
Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills
Ability to remain calm and professional when managing incidents or emergencies
Good understanding of security procedures, access control, and incident management
