As a Security Officer at Sodexo based at Diageo Shieldhall, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for colleagues, visitors and contractors. You’ll play a key role in ensuring site security standards are upheld while delivering a professional and approachable service at all times.
This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and security.
What you’ll do
- Monitor and control access to the site
- Conduct regular patrols and security checks
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm and professional manner
- Complete accurate incident reports and site documentation
- Support health & safety and compliance procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors
- Work collaboratively with the wider security and site teams
- Ensure all security protocols are followed consistently
What you bring
- Valid SIA Licence
- First Aid qualification
- Previous security experience in a corporate or industrial environment preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Good observational and reporting skills
- Full driving licence required
- Flexible and professional approach to work
