Pay:
£13.20 per hour
Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 4:00pm–8:00pm
Additional hours: Occasional weekend work depending on business needs
Contract options:
- 52 weeks (includes non-term time)
- 40 weeks (includes 3 weeks non-term time working)
- 37 weeks (term time only – school holidays off)

The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our friendly team at Edinburgh Academy Senior School. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the school, helping to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for everyone.
What You’ll Do
- Clean classrooms, corridors, and shared school spaces to a high standard
- Use cleaning equipment safely (full training provided)
- Follow daily cleaning routines and schedules
- Work as part of a friendly and supportive team
- Take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
What you’ll bring:
- Reliable, positive, and proud of your work
- A team player who can also work independently
- Good attention to detail
- Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided
