Job Introduction

At Sodexo Live!, we create exceptional moments that bring people together. We're now looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Sales Manager to lead Conference & Events sales at the American Express Stadium, home of Brighton & Hove Albion FC.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven sales leader to take ownership of our events business, inspire a talented team, grow new revenue streams, and play a key role in shaping the future success of one of the South Coast's premier event destinations.

As Sales Manager, you'll take the lead in delivering the venue's Conference & Events sales strategy, driving both proactive business development and reactive sales conversion.

We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial awareness with exceptional people leadership.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a high-performing sales team comprising a Business Development Manager and three Sales Coordinators.
• Own the delivery of annual sales budget.
• Drive conversion, revenue growth, forecasting accuracy and pipeline performance.
• Build and develop key client relationships, securing high-value and strategic events.
• Identify new commercial opportunities and grow the venue's non-matchday event programme, including the Fan Zone and Terrace events.
• Work closely with operational, culinary, finance and marketing teams to ensure every event exceeds client expectations.
• Use market insight, customer feedback and sales data to continuously improve performance.
• Champion outstanding customer service throughout the entire sales journey

What You Bring

• Proven experience leading Conference & Events sales within a venue, hospitality, hotel, stadium or events environment.
• A track record of delivering challenging sales targets and revenue growth.
• Experience managing both proactive business development activity and reactive sales enquiries.
• Strong forecasting, pipeline management and conversion skills.
• Experience managing key accounts and high-value client relationships.
• The ability to coach, motivate and develop a successful sales team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A customer-first mindset and passion for creating exceptional event experiences.
• Strong CRM and reporting capability, with the ability to turn data into action.
