Job Description
As a Retail Supervisor at Sodexo at Worthy Down Barracks. You'll supervise the day to day retail business in our convenience store! Your and your teams role is mostly customer facing and will interact with our Armed forces personnel every day, improving quality of life for all that you meet.
What you’ll do
- Ensure completion of all requested/contracted tasks and motivate your team to effectively ensure these are completed in a timely and thorough manner.
- Communicate efficiently about stock management with your team, and keep on top of scheduled deliveries
- Take charge of monitoring team activity, coordinating daily actions and assisting customers.
- Champion new ways of working within the store through an open mindset and positive attitude
- Ensuring the team are proactive with supporting offers, promotions and any loyalty schemes
- Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store and facilities.
- Ability and confidence to challenge customers who look under 25 when buying restricted items
What you bring
- Supervisory level experience
- You'll set a great example for the rest of the team with your hands-on mentality, enthusiasm, and passion for delivering a fantastic customer experience.
- You are not afraid to take the initiative where the retail manager is absent.
- You know how to play a part in creating a great team who share your passion and vision to make every customer' experience outstanding.
- You have experience in opening and closing a store/ Key holder experience
