We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join our team, providing building services engineering and maintenance across a variety of client sites throughout the Southern region.

You’ll be responsible for keeping buildings and equipment operating safely and efficiently, carrying out a mix of planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs and minor works.

This is a varied role where you’ll work independently across different sites, while building strong relationships with clients, colleagues and contractors.

Join our team and play a key role in delivering excellence and innovation in Hard FM and Technical Facilities Services.

As a Mobile Maintenance Engineer you'll:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and fault finding.
  • Maintaining a range of electrical, mechanical and building services equipment.
  • Responding to breakdowns and emergency call-outs when required.
  • Completing minor works and like-for-like asset replacements.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally and within agreed timeframes.
  • Working closely with clients and the Command Centre to prioritise and complete jobs.
  • Supervising specialist contractors and ensuring work meets the required standards.
  • Completing relevant documentation, risk assessments and maintenance records.
  • Supporting an on-call service when required.

What we're looking for

  • You’ll ideally have experience working in facilities management, building services or commercial properties, with a strong electrical maintenance background.

    Essential

    • Relevant Level 3 electrical qualification, such as City & Guilds 2230, NVQ 2356/2357, City & Guilds 2330, or AM1 and AM2.
    • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
    • Full UK driving licence.
    • Experience of planned and reactive maintenance and electrical fault finding.
    • Good understanding of Health & Safety, including risk assessments and safe systems of work.
    • Comfortable working independently across multiple sites.
    • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and computerised maintenance systems.
    • Desirable

      • Building Services qualification or equivalent.
      • Inspection & Testing qualification (2394/2395).
      • JIB accreditation.
      • IPAF or PASMA certification.
