At Sodexo, you'll belong in a team where attention to detail and excellent customer service make a real difference. We're looking for a proactive Micro Kitchen & Vending Operative to join our team at GSK HQ in Central London.
In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the site's micro kitchens, coffee stations and vending areas, ensuring they're clean, fully stocked and operating efficiently throughout the day. You'll take pride in creating welcoming refreshment spaces that provide an outstanding experience for GSK colleagues and visitors.
What you'll do
- Refill vending machines and vending fridges with approved products
- Ensure correct product placement, pricing and labelling
- Rotate stock and remove expired or damaged products
- Carry out stock takes and monitor stock levels
- Clean vending machines internally and externally
- Service and clean coffee machines
- Replenish coffee beans, tea, milk, cups and other kitchen consumables
- Maintain micro kitchens and refreshment areas to the highest standards
- Operate, load and unload dishwashers
- Ensure vending fridges meet food safety, temperature and cleanliness standards
- Respond promptly to customer requests and ad-hoc tasks
- Report equipment faults and maintenance issues
- Follow food safety, health & safety and company procedures at all times
What you'll bring
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of presentation
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload
- A proactive, reliable and organised approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
- Experience in vending, catering, hospitality or facilities services is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures is beneficial
- Pride in maintaining clean, welcoming and well-stocked environments
