What you'll do

Kitchen Hygiene & Cleaning

• Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Wash, clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, trays, equipment and other kitchen items.
• Ensure clean equipment is returned to the appropriate storage areas.
• Clean work surfaces, floors, sinks, walls and other designated areas.
• Follow the kitchen cleaning schedules and chemical-control procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to COSHH requirements.
• Carry out deep-cleaning duties as directed by the Chef or management team.

Food Safety & Hygiene

• Follow all HACCP, food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Maintain good personal hygiene and wear the correct uniform and PPE.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and chemicals are stored correctly.
• Report any hygiene, pest, equipment or food-safety concerns immediately to the Chef in Charge.
• Prevent cross-contamination by following correct cleaning and segregation procedures.
• Support the kitchen team in maintaining excellent audit standards.

What you'll bring

• Previous experience in a kitchen, catering or hospitality environment is desirable.
• Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible.
• Physically able to undertake cleaning, lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Good attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the kitchen operation.
• Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.
• Professional approach to food safety, hygiene and guest service.

• £13.53 per hour
• 4 on 2 off ( lounge opening hours 4am to 10 pm, shift pattern will vary according to business needs , can be early start mid early starts and afternoon start shift patterns )
• Casual role to be made permanent on completion of probation period and obtaining full airside pass.
