Job Introduction

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role behind the scenes, supporting the smooth running of the kitchen. You’ll help keep all areas clean, safe, and organised, ensuring the team can deliver excellent food and service every day.

What you’ll do:

  • Carry out general kitchen cleaning duties, including pot washing and use of a commercial dishwasher
  • Keep all kitchen areas clean, tidy, and well organised at all times
  • Receive, check, and store deliveries in line with company procedures
  • Support the team with basic food service and provide friendly customer service when needed
  • Follow all food safety, health & safety, and cleaning standards, completing required records and schedules
  • Work as part of a team, assist with kitchen setup/clear-down, and support with any reasonable tasks as requested
