Support a professional and efficient catering operation

Sodexo is looking for a reliable and organised Kitchen Porter to join our catering team at ESB, 27 Lower Fitzwilliam Street.

Working within a professional corporate environment, you’ll support the kitchen team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation. You’ll play an important role in ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and that chefs have the support they need to deliver a high-quality service.

What you'll do:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and associated areas

• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, crockery and utensils

• Support the kitchen team with the receipt and appropriate storage of deliveries

• Ensure kitchen waste and recycling are handled safely and responsibly

• Assist with basic food preparation when required

• Keep kitchen areas clean, organised and ready for service

• Work closely with chefs and catering colleagues to support an efficient daily operation

• Follow all relevant food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures

What you'll bring:

• Previous experience in a kitchen, catering or hospitality environment is beneficial, but full training will be provided

• A strong understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards

• A reliable, organised and professional approach to your work

• Ability to work effectively in a busy catering environment

• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

• A positive and flexible approach, with a willingness to support colleagues where required
