As Visitor Services Supervisor for Sodexo, based at Ipswich Hospital, you’ll play a key role in delivering a professional, compassionate, and efficient front-line service that enhances the experience of patients, visitors, and staff alike. Whether it’s ensuring helpdesk calls are handled swiftly, reception areas remain welcoming, or car parking operations run smoothly, you’ll be at the heart of a service that truly makes a difference every day. What you’ll do:
Lead and support the Helpdesk, Reception, and Car Parking teams to deliver a high-quality, professional service.
Ensure all helpdesk calls are answered, logged, and monitored in line with service level agreements, taking prompt action where needed.
Supervise the reception team to maintain a welcoming and informative front-of-house experience throughout core hours.
Collaborate with parking attendants to ensure site access policies are enforced with compassion and professionalism.
Maintain accurate rosters and cover arrangements, ensuring continuity of service at all times.
Resolve queries and complaints efficiently and in line with procedures, ensuring exceptional customer service is at the heart of everything you do.
What you bring:
A good general education and Health & Safety awareness.
Confident communicator with excellent customer service and IT skills.
Organised, adaptable and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings when required.
Experience in a healthcare or supervisory role.
Understanding of Helpdesk systems or hospital support services.
Full UK driving license.
