Working Hours: 56 hours per week (3 Days, 3 Nights, 3 Off – includes weekends and bank holidays)
Hourly Rate: £13.10
Contract Type: Permanent
Job Introduction
We’re looking for a professional and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at Diageo, Runcorn. This is a frontline role requiring high standards of customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain safety and security across the site. If you hold a valid SIA licence and have gatehouse experience, we’d like to hear from you.
Role Responsibility
As a Security Officer at Sodexo, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing gatehouse duties and site access control 
- Conducting regular site patrols and reporting incidents 
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety procedures 
- Monitoring CCTV and other security systems 
- Working closely with site personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment 
The Ideal Candidate
You will have:
- A valid SIA licence (essential) 
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential) 
- Experience in gatehouse duties (essential) 
- Strong observational and communication skills 
- The ability to remain calm under pressure 
- A minimum age of 21 (due to insurance requirements)
