Job Introduction
Heritage Portfolio are currently looking to add a Cashier/ Retail Assistant to their team at The Stables Kitchen in Hopetoun House. The Stables Kitchen is a clever and sensitive restoration of the 18th Century Adam Stables transformed into a comfortable and cosy eatery, complete with a delicious contemporary menu. Only a few miles from Edinburgh, you can escape to another world and soak up the relaxed atmosphere within a spectacular setting.
Role Responsibility
- To set up all catering areas ready for service
- To clean and tidy all catering areas during service as required
- Cash Handling in adherence with Company Cash Management Policy
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Cashier / Retail Assistants are to be able to up sell direct to customers by recommendation, specials and additional products to be promoted in customer sale opportunities
- To undertake any reasonable task as requested by your Line Manager
The Ideal Candidate
- Punctual
- Experience of cash handling
- General Catering Experience
- Smart, presentable and adhere to Company uniform guidelines
- Cashiers / Retail Assistants must have clear, concise written & spoken English language
Own transport is essential as the site is not supported by public transport or must live local.
